IN MY FACE

I can't remember if I have introduced this on my blog yet but its something I know I have been doing on other social media for a while. I love food, and every day when I go through food blogs there is something there that I absolutely, must have, totally want (or wish) I could eat right away.
So ladies and gentleman, I give you today's "IN MY FACE":

Family

Family comes in many forms. Some you are born with, and some you find! If you were wondering what this Hamilton family of mine looks here we are! This was taken on Saturday at an event called Ice Dragon.

Camping Season Dreams

This early warm weather has everyone chomping at the bit to get to camping season. Sadly we have to wait for the end of May for that. But last night I dreamed of camp. It was a very vivid, yet undetailed dream. It was more a dream of the feeling of camp, of the relaxing, friendship, food, and the smell of heat baking off the land.
We are off to a day event in Buffalo this weekend, which will help tamper that camp need just a bit. Its always nice seeing friends from near and far who we don't get to see very often. We will do some visiting, some shopping, swap stories, and get even more excited for the upcoming season. We have some big plans and crafts in the works for this year and I can't wait to get them done!
Only 63 more days until War of the Roses and our opening weekend!

Todays inspiring image is one I took last year at Roses showcasing some of the beautiful craftsmanship available from the talented populace.

The Ebb and Flow

The season begins to turn and Spring seems to have come early to my little corner of the world. The sun has been showing its face beaming inspiring warmth onto everything below. It feels so wonderful. Like the little flowers who have started to peek their little heads out of the dirt, I feel that I too am coming out of hibernation. Stretching my face towards the sun, waking up an excitement that the winter months seem to tamper with their chill. The Spring seems to have come early, and even though I know that we still may have some winter to get through yet, I feel I can confidently cry to the sky "I AM READY FOR SUMMER!".

In other good news related to a previous post...I FINALLY have a car! I am now the proud owner of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Its not full of glamour and glitz but man am I excited! Not only do I have a car again, its also a car I can finally use to haul around all my gear! It even has a tow hitch so I could get a trailer if I wanted! Its a string of small blessings thats for sure. I only cross my fingers and hope that nothing crops up that could be wrong. I will remain positive and wait in happy anticipation of picking it up on Friday! Now it only needs a name...

Since it's a car kind of day our inspiring image of the day is of my car when I was on my way to Pennsic last year (Pennsic 41 - the window says "Hamilton Pennsic Longship 2 Electric Boogaloo).

Sunshine Overload!

After a long winter you forget JUST HOW GOOD sunshine can make you feel! One side effect is it makes me miss Faire and camp so, so much. So today's little inspiration is the fantastic Tartanic with the beautiful, inspiring, Sophia Balentine dancing.
